Summer Vacation

After rough week of getting a sinus infection, and sharing it with Mommy and Daddy, we took a much needed vacation to the Breezes resort in Curacao (a Dutch island near Aruba). We had a great time and I behaved wonderfully for my parents.

I really enjoyed my first airplane ride. Here I am looking out the window on our way to Miami and posing with mom. See how happy I was. I only cried on the plane when I got hungry and tired.

Later in the week I relaxed on the beach chair and played with Grandpa Hawn. Don't I look good in Daddy's hat?

On Friday we took a boat out to sea to watch the sunset. Here I am with Mommy and Great Grandma Crutchfield. Do you like my pretty dress? Mommy made it for me!!

What a beautiful sunset..although the seas were a little rough. I got fussy and cried for the first 15 minutes, but enjoyed the rest of the voyage after a short nap at sea.

Some new tricks I learned this week were starting to try and pull my knees under me and I drank from a cup Friday night. Don't worry...it's just water!!

Here we are downtown. In the background you can see the colorful buildings and the floating bridge. I had fun walking around the market stores.

On the plane ride home I played with my Caribbean maraca and pulled at my socks (my other new favorite trick). It was a wonderful vacation, but now I'm back home and awaiting my surgery on Friday. They are going to try and fix my crossed eyes by moving the muscles on the inside of my eyes. They are also going to help me with my flexibility and sitting up by giving me Botox in my inner thighs. Yes...it sounds funny. Mommy and Daddy say I am a Beverly Hills girl because I'm getting my eyes "done" and Botox in the same day. They will both help me and Mommy and Daddy will be with me though it all. Thanks again Great Grandma Crutchfield for taking us on such a great summer vacation. It was also great spending time with Scott, Jen, Charlie, Dean, Debbie, Harold and the rest of the extended family.
