Mother's Day 2011

We had a great Mother's Day get together this year, finding the perfect spot at Creve Couer Lake to have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful day outside. The kids especially had a great time with a park near by, and plenty of room to run around and play. I think it is safe to say this was my most enjoyable Mother's Day celebration yet, and I couldn't even do as much as I would have liked due to my 8 months pregnant state :-) It was still a lot of fun!

This picture makes me smile...

Love my little girl and can't wait to meet our next baby!

Aunt Kelly brought her dog Abraham, I was skeptical at first, but I must say, he is the best behaved Labrador I have ever known.

Uncle Matt, chillin. Also want to say congratulations on graduating college! Africa Mission Trip, here you come.

Aunt Kim, playing ball with the kids. Looks like Jeff really got ahold of this one!

Time on the playground with Daddy!

Rock climbing... spotter needed.

Charlotte, learning to play catch. The mitt is a little bit too big, but I think she started to get the hang of it.

See the lawn chair behind me?? They made me sit and pitch, but I was throwing way more balls than strikes, so I had to stand up for this one. Grandma was a great catcher!

Great Grandma Clara

Jefferson posed for this pic for me. I love the expression on his face, so innocent :-)

Charlotte couldn't get enough watermelon. Each year, I am reminded how much she loves it. She said to me "mmmmm juicy!!"

Julianne gobbling hers up too

Trying to soak up this moment, I know they will be grown up before we know it...

Great Grandma feeling the baby kick.

Jen,
Your Mother's Day celebration looked like fun! The park seemed like the perfect spot for everyone involved. You pitching from a sitting position was a great idea - maybe we ought to pass that along to the Cards - it worked for you. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers and wishing you well.
