Easter Celebration - 2010

We had a great Easter this year! The day was absolutely gorgeous and gave us so many reasons to be thankful. We took so many pictures and it has taken me a while to get this post together. Our morning started off at home where the Easter Bunny hopped his way over to our house and left Charlotte some treats.

She came out of her room, pushing her dress up box, only to find the goodies that the Easter Bunny had left for her to play with.
She even got some of her new FAVORITE iced animal cookies!

As we were getting ready for church, she continued to play with her dress-up and emerged from her room looking like this. Too cute!

Posing by one of our bushes out back. I love this picture! This dress is one that my mother made for me when I was a little girl, and I wore it for Easter once too.

After church, we went to Pat & Kristy's for the afternoon. We took some family pictures before changing our clothes and spending the afternoon enjoying the warm sun and cool breeze.

And then, the Easter Egg Hunt began!

Julianne was a quick learner this year

Charlotte decided to ditch her walker for the hard to reach eggs

However, her basket sure did come in handy because she got A LOT of eggs!

Jefferson being a good big brother, carrying Julianne's basket and helping her find some eggs

The Easter Bunny found a way to leave some goodies at Pat & Kristy's too. Here, she is holding up her favorite candy, M & M's

Charlotte got to play with her cousin Jeff a lot. They play very well together and are quite the pair.

Jefferson got a sandbox for Easter from Grandma and Grandpa Hawn. They felt like they were on the beach on vacation.

But were soon put to work with their bubble lawn mowers...

(This makes me smile)

Charlotte also had fun with Julianne, pushing her in her car and on the swing. I am not sure who was having the most fun.

Grandpa even turned into a kid again!

So thankful for family and the great times we have together

Beautiful! I just have to comment that I love how you can see the reflections of other family members in the door of the family pictures! That makes for some very neat pictures!
