Some family and friends came over this evening to eat Ryan's "traditional" German chocolate cake on his birthday eve. It was nice to spend the evening telling stories about him and looking at pictures and videos we had of him. I'm not sure how I feel about tomorrow....Jenn and I talked about how it seems crazy that he would be 1 tomorrow...where did the year go...I guess that is one negative about trying to stay busy...to keep your mind occupied. But it still feels good to talk about him, share the good memories, and I suppose tomorrow will be a continuation of that. Keeping his memory alive and fresh in our hearts and mind.
I finally took the time to work on a slide show for the trivia night we had last July. If you attended, and invited others, let them know to take a look. We have a lot of great pictures (thanks to Amy) and I don't think many people avoided the camera throughout the night.
Goodnight,
Chris, and Family
