On one of the hottest days of the year, we had planned to go up near Alton to Harbor Point to swim and have a BBQ. It was a great day to go and the water felt GREAT! This was the first time we had taken Charlotte swimming all summer! other than her aquatic therapy at Ranken Jordan every Wednesday. It was time for some fun in the sun with her.
She did a lot of swimming with her floaties on and a ring to help her stay afloat. After a while, she needed a break and kicked back in this ring floatie. She didn't take a nap that day and was worn out!
Ian, Sara and Nathan came with us
After we swam and ate, we took a "stroll" to the point to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. This is the Mississippi River. We could see up and down for miles.

After not having a nap and such an eventful day, we were sure Charlotte would be out like a light for the trip home. This is what happened instead. (We were laughing to keep her little giggle going. It is infectious.)
It was a great day together.

That reminds me of the youtube video of the lady w/ quads laying in bed w/ them and they're all laughing like that @ the dad. A child's laughter like that is contagious!
