I Pray You Enough

I read this prayer today, not at church, but in an email I was sent recently. I liked it and thought that most people would...

I pray you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I pray you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I pray you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I pray you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I pray you enough gain to satisfy you wanting.

I pray you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I pray you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

I have loved that prayer for a long time. As I have struggled with the problems that come with an 18 year old who thinks she knows it all, this is something I say or think of everyday. It is my wish and my prayer for you and your family!! God Bless Each of You!!

I found this one shortly after we started finding things out about Ryan. Its a Cherokee Prayer:

May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong.
