Thirty-One

This entry is not about my age, my husband's age, the number of times I have asked Charlotte to fix her feet or take a bite today, the prayers I have said to God for my children this week, or the number of phone calls I have made to Dr.'s in the past 2 weeks. It is a number that I am learning to live by and a number that I will be spending more time getting to know. This number is for me. It happens to represent proverbs 31 versus 10-31. Thirty-One also happens to be the name of the company that I am now a part of. I was introduced to it by a good friend of mine who was "doing something for herself" as the company motto celebrates, encourages and rewards women. It is a Christian company based on this passage. It's purpose is to allow women to be successful and provide for their family and find reward in their work and the flexibility to be the wife, homemaker, neighbor, teacher, mother and individual that she wants to be. I am honored to be a part of this company because of the values behind it.

It is a bonus that the company offers many ways for me to have an outlet as an individual. I am a mother that functions as many roles, especially with the special needs of my daughter and the daily/weekly demands that entails. I was losing a part of myself and need time to be me. Instead of putting me off, I have decided that selling Thirty-One products is the perfect opportunity for me to have "me time" now. It gives me an excuse to get out with the girls, have some fun and also hopefully help provide for the many needs of my family by making some income.
